The one-stage method reduces patient burden because surgical treatment is required only once.

Treatment procedures with one-stage method
- 1.An incision and a socket are made to place an implant into the jawbone.

- 3.A metal extension called an abutment is connected to the implant body.
- 4.Over the next three to six months, the implant body and its surrounding bone are allowed to bond firmly together.
- 5.A mold of the mouth and the teeth is made to create an artificial tooth. Then, the artificial tooth is placed on the abutment.
* In some cases, a temporary tooth can be placed on the same day as implant placement.
